All kinds of water-based ink formula and production process

Water-based ink is known as ink, flexo water-based ink is also known as liquid ink, which is mainly made of water-soluble resins, organic pigments, solvents and related additives by composite grinding production and processing. Water-based ink is mainly made of water-based polymer emulsion, organic pigments, resins, surfactants and related additives through the organic chemical operation process and physics mixed and made of water-based printing ink, in view of it is water to replace the traditional ink accounted for 30% to 70% of the harmful organic solution, so that the ink will no longer carry volatile organic solution.
 


Inks are mainly divided into 4 categories according to the plate type:
 
1. letterpress ink: is used for printing books, newspapers, publicity albums, bills, accounts and so on this kind of ink. The main feature of letterpress printing is that the ink-stained part of the printing plate is raised on the non-ink-stained part. Letterpress ink according to the type of printing equipment and the use of printing products are divided into lead printing ink, copper printing ink, rotary letterpress ink, flexible letterpress ink.
 
2. lithography ink: mainly used for lithography printing of this type of ink. Most of the parts of the lithography plate are in a plane, the pattern is oil-philic, the non-pattern is water-philic, and the basic principle of water-oil exclusion is used to carry out printing, so the lithography ink must have waterproof characteristics. According to the processing technology, it is divided into offset ink, web offset ink, flat offset ink, waterless offset ink, iron printing ink, lithographic ink, plate ink.
 
3. gravure ink: This type of ink can be used for gravure printing. When printing, ink is inked into the pattern part of the plate, and the ink of the non-pattern part is erased or scraped, and then printing is carried out. There are engraving intaglio ink and photo intaglio ink.
 
4. Mesh plate ink: This type of ink is printed on the substrate surface according to the mesh of the printing plate. Screen printing ink is divided into transcription ink and screen printing ink.
 
 
Water-based ink formula
 
1. water-based black ink formula:
Type 870 acrylic resin liquid: 30; Ethanol: 9; Propylene glycol butyl ether: 8; N330 carbon black: 10; Phthalocyanine Blue BGS (or Hualan) : 1.5; 6240 Green lotus: 0.5; 831 emulsion: 10; 824 emulsion: 20; Defoamer: 0.5; Deionized water: 10.
 
2. water-based red ink formula:
870 acrylic resin liquid: 30; Ethanol: 8; Big red powder: 6; Lysol red: 28; Propylene glycol butyl ether: 8; Water wax: 1; 831 emulsion: 10; 824 emulsion: 20; Defoamer: 0.5; Deionized water: 14.5.
 
3, water-based dark green ink formula:
870 acrylic resin liquid: 30; Ethanol: 8; Phthalocyanine green: 5; Benzidine yellow: 38; 831 emulsion: 10; 824 emulsion: 20; Water wax: 1; Propylene glycol butyl ether: 8; Defoamer: 0.5; Deionized water: 14.5.
 
4. water-based Tianlan ink formula:
870 acrylic resin liquid: 30; Ethanol: 8; Phthalocyanine Blue BGS: 6.5; Titanium dioxide: 1.58; 831 emulsion: 10; 824 emulsion: 20; Water wax: 1; Propylene glycol butyl ether: 8; Defoamer: 0.5; Deionized water: 14.5.
 
 
Water-based ink production process
 
1. first, according to the formula needs to acrylic resin liquid, ethanol and part of deionized water, put into the dispersion tank, sufficient mix and dispersion balance.
 
2. the formula needs to weigh the pigment, 0.3 parts of defoamer into the dispersion kettle, sufficient dispersion and mixing.
 
3. the dispersed material is moved to the sand mill for grinding, grinding 3-4 times, the fineness can be measured below 15um, otherwise, then grinding until the fineness meets the requirements.
 
4. the ground material is moved to the dispersion kettle, and then according to the formula needs to weigh the 831 emulsion, 824 emulsion, water-based wax, propylene glycol butyl ether, the remaining defoamer and deionized water into the dispersion kettle, sufficient dispersion balance can be. (The speed of the dispersing machine is controlled at 300-500 RPM)
 


Production process common problems and quality management
 
1.just before the operation should first check the processing equipment is not clean, can not run normally.
 
2. the production workshop must avoid open fire, cool ventilation, grinding machine sealing, refrigeration is not complete.
 
3..strictly according to the formula required to weigh the amount of raw materials.
 
4. Strictly carry out the actual operation according to the sequential feeding order.
 
5.all kinds of raw materials into the factory, should first do a small amount of laboratory production to ensure the quality of industrial products.
